Glenda (Tounzen) Beeson died Monday evening. Glenda's funeral is
Saturday, 9:00 a.m. at the Christian Church in El Centro. Viewing the
night before at Frye Chapel in Brawley.
Obituary
GLENDA JEAN BEESON

Glenda Jean Beeson, 58,
of El Centro passed away on Monday at El Centro Regional Medical Center.
Glenda was born on July
10, 1946 in Roswell, NM. She moved to the Imperial Valley as a young
girl, and graduated from Holtville High School.
After graduation Glenda
went to work at El Centro Community Hospital as a switchboard operator
and administrator. She would continue in that position for 20 years. She
later held a position at Imperial Valley Medical Billing and at G-Mac
Development Co. as an office manager for her remaining years.
Visitation for friends
and family will be held Friday, May 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Frye Chapel
in Brawley. Funeral services honoring Glenda's life will be Saturday,
May 14, at 9 a.m. at Central Baptist Church. Her nephew, Pastor Dusty
Ward will be officiating. Following the services, burial will be held at
Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro.
She is preceded in death
by her mother, Hazel Jean Fusi in 1995 and her father, Horace Jewel
Tounzen in 2004.
Her survivors include her
son, Gary Moore of El Centro; daughter Melissa Moore of El Centro;
brothers Johnny Tounzen of Holtville, Kenny Fusi of El Centro, and Terry
Tounzen of Arkansas; sisters Bernice Tounzen of El Centro, Frances Ward
of Holtville, and Shirley Enz of Holtville. She will be missed by her
granddaughter Brittany Moore and grandson Garrett Moore of El Centro and
her numerous nieces and nephews, and her many loving friends.
