Edward L. Bisgaard

Edward Bisgaard was born on July 26, 1946 to Edward and
Gail Bisgaard, in El Centro, California. He attended Holtville schools,
graduating in 1964. He attended Cal Poly Pomona graduating with a degree
in Accounting in 1970. Edward was hired directly after college by Arthur
Anderson & Co, one of the Big 8 firms. He sat for the CPA Exam and
passed it on the first try. He then went to Aruba to work for King
International Casinos. After three years he returned to Los Angeles to
work for Capital Investments as an Investment Account Manager.
In the 80's he moved to San Diego to be closer to his
family and worked as a financial planner for five years. He then moved
to Walnut Creek and worked for World Savings as a Vice President in
their Retirement Account Department until an early retirement in 1997,
when he returned to Holtville to be near his family and aging mother.
Ed was a loving and generous son, brother, and uncle.
He looked after his mother all his life as she was widowed at an early
age. He was a good uncle and his family loved him very much. His family
is greatly saddened by his unexpected death.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Bisgaard, niece Bonnie Lay,
and brother-in-law, Jack Carley.
Ed is survived by his mother, Gail Bisgaard; three
sisters and one brother-in-law, Alice Carley, Barbara Fusi, and June and
Gary Ansiel, along with several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday, December 7 at 11 a.m. at
First Baptist Church in El Centro.
